As a business owner, does this sound familiar to you?
A customer or business contact who doesn’t pay and remains unreachable. A supplier who fails to honor agreements. Or a contract that, in hindsight, turns out to be less clear than you thought—or even the absence of written agreements, because you wanted to do business in good faith.
These are situations that slow down your business and create unnecessary risk. Many entrepreneurs wait too long to take action or, conversely, get off on the wrong foot. That’s understandable—you don’t have time for it, and it’s not something that energizes you. Cost is often a factor as well.
But putting things off usually makes the problem bigger and more expensive. It’s precisely by taking action in a timely manner that you prevent the problem from escalating and maintain control of the situation.
I'll help you get clarity quickly
What are your options? What is the best course of action in your situation? And what are the concrete benefits?
No long legal documents that you won't read anyway, but clear advice you can put into practice right away.
Practical Legal Advice for Entrepreneurs
You’ll receive advice in plain language and a concrete approach tailored to your situation. Sometimes, a well-drafted notice of default is enough to get things moving. In other cases, negotiation is the best course of action. And if necessary, I’ll assist you in (emergency) legal proceedings.
So you’ll not only know what your rights are, but—more importantly—which step is most effective right now, both legally and from a business perspective, without unnecessarily damaging the relationship. Be firm on the substance, but gentle on the relationship.
How I Can Help You
Business law touches virtually every aspect of your company—from formalizing agreements to resolving conflicts. You can come to me for assistance with, among other things: drafting and reviewing contracts, drafting and reviewing terms and conditions, disputes with customers or suppliers, debt collection and accounts receivable issues, liability and claims for damages, termination of agreements, non-compete and customer retention clauses, and service and distribution agreements.
Not sure if your question is covered below? I'll take a look with you and get you a quick answer.
Clarity Up Front
For many projects, I agree on a fixed price in advance so you know exactly what to expect. And if the situation calls for it, I work on an hourly rate. I’m also available for hire as a flexible resource or interim employee.
That way, you won't run into any surprises and can make an informed decision in advance.

With nearly ten years of experience at firms including a large law firm, I have the legal expertise to quickly get to the heart of the matter and apply that knowledge practically to your situation. Questions about business law
Frequently Asked Questions about business law. Can't find your question here? Feel free to contact us.
A business law attorney can assist you with legal issues related to your business. These include commercial disputes, contracts, debt collection, liability, and partnership conflicts. I provide advice, negotiate, and litigate when necessary.
For many projects, I agree on a fixed price in advance so you know exactly what to expect. If an hourly rate is a better fit for the project, we can use that option as well. During our first meeting, we’ll discuss what works best for your situation, and I’ll give you a concrete estimate.
No. Fixed prices are often the most straightforward, but sometimes billing based on an hourly rate is a better fit—for example, for an assignment that’s difficult to define. We’ll specify in advance in the order confirmation which option works best for you.
As soon as a legal issue starts costing you time, money, or energy—whether it’s a client who isn’t paying, a contract that doesn’t protect you, a dispute with a business partner, or a liability claim—the sooner you take action, the more options you’ll have, and the lower the costs will typically be.
A legal advisor cannot represent you in court and is not subject to the disciplinary rules of the Bar Association. A lawyer, however, can. In addition, a lawyer has a legal duty of confidentiality. If you want someone who can also litigate when negotiations fail, you need a lawyer.
That's possible, but be aware of the risks. What you write or say yourself could be used against you in court. The sooner you consult a lawyer, the stronger your position will be. An initial assessment won't take much time or money, but it could save you a lot in the long run.
I work with fixed prices because I know how frustrating it is when a bill is out of proportion to what you get in return. My goal is for you to be satisfied and come back, not to bill as many hours as possible.
I’ll get back to you within 24 hours. For urgent matters, such as a seizure or an immediate claim, I’ll take action the same day whenever possible.
