How It All Began
My name is Bas Labee. My parents were lawyers and ran their own law firm. As a result, the law was always a part of my life—not as something abstract, but as a profession centered on substance, responsibility, and diligence.
After graduating, I worked at two law firms in the Randstad, where I practiced law at a high level and advised business owners. In that setting, I saw what really matters to them: clarity about their position, the risks, the next steps, and the associated costs. The traditional “hourly billing” model doesn’t always align well with that.
In my work, I've had the opportunity to work closely with many entrepreneurs. I've seen how legal issues directly impact their businesses, their time, and their focus. It is precisely in those situations that the need for clarity, speed, and practical solutions is greatest.
That combination shapes the way I work. I speak the language of entrepreneurs, understand the context, and say what needs to be said—not just what’s pleasant to hear. That way, you know where you stand and what the best next step is.
